Sharp spurs at the tip guide the bit into the wood ensuring a smooth and uniform holethroughout. Manufactured with high grade carbon steel and a centre pointwith screw resulting in less downward pressure being required for them to bite into the work piece. The wide deep flighting of these bits allows efficient removal of wood shavings and prevents the hole from becoming clogged.
